Robert L. Kline Jr.
Robert is an award winning Game Designer, Fiction Writer, Multimedia Designer, Graphic Designer, Web Designer and Project Manager.
His interest in the creative arts and computers can be traced all the way back to grade school. During this time, he became obsessed with drawing strange cartoons, writing really bad detective stories, and spending way too many hours in front of an old Mac in an Intro To Computers class, creating his first full blown animation involving a knight fighting a dragon.
Not much has changed.
He graduated from the University of Akron with a Graphic Design major and Computer Imaging minor. After school, he took on many different roles during his career in the multimedia field such as:
- Game Designer
He was a 2010 Finalist for Best Education Game or Simulation in The 25th Annual SIIA CODiE Awards
- Web Designer
- Flash Developer
- Presentation Designer
- Fiction Writer
- 3D Modeller and animator
Addy Award for animation
- Voice-Over Artist
- Video and Audio Work
- Project Manager
He is currently a freelance designer and project manager located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
During his off time, he likes to play around with creating digital music and soundscapes, drawing crazy cartoon characters, writing bizarre stories and spending way too many hours in front of a computer.
He lives in Ohio with his wife, two pugs, and a collection of hundreds of video games that he refuses to part with no matter how old they are.
He is also a co-founder of Steam Hat and is the rather manic webmaster of this site, so if you see a lot of reference to “I” in this site that would be him. It drives him crazy writing in the third person.
